Barcode clock tells time, easy to scan at supermarket checkout

barcode clock.jpgThe Barcode Clock is pretty much exactly what you think it is — a clock that looks like a barcode. You can tell the time by looking at the little LEDs above the numbers along the bottom, which are just 1 to 12 listed in order and semicleverly disguised through spacing. The minutes read out the same way minutes on any other digital clock do. Apparently designer Progetti CR ran out of cool ideas for those.

Since our barcode scanner here at DVICE HQ doesn’t exist, we can’t scan the clock face to see if it says anything interesting like “clock” or “you’re a sucker for paying $586 for this.”
