Yes, this concept CD player is really slick looking, what with its touchscreen interface and unique-wall mounted design. Yes, it would make your apartment or house look that much more futuristic. But did nobody send the designer the memo that CDs are a dead medium?I mean, come on. Who is still designing CD players these days? Clearly, CDs are going the way of the cassette and the 8-track, soon to be reserved for sentimental nostalgia addicts. So why spend the time creating some fancy version of yesterday’s hot product? I suppose I’m not one to judge, but somehow I don’t think this’ll ever become a big seller.
