One of the more introducing tech trends I spotted on the floor of this year’s Toy Fair, was an attempt to help make home PCs a bit more kid-friendly. Sure there have been a lot of products out there aimed at become kid-sized computers, but what happens when the kids inevitably want to get their tiny hands on the adult toy in the middle of the living room?

A few companies are offering kid-friendly peripherals that plug into your PC. Check out some of the options, after the jump.

myPC Toddler [Pictured at top of post]: myPC offers a number of kid-friendly keyboards for different stages in your child’s development. Pictured above is the Toddler Keyboard, which is spill-proof, washable, and comes with an ergonomic children’s mouse. It also lack the period key, so kids can’t access questionable Website when unsupervised.

Crayola ez Type Keyboard: One of a number of Crayola-branded products by Sakar, including flashlights, digital cameras, and photo frames, the ez Type keyboard features bright, over-sized keys that are easier on kids’ tiny hands.

Googolboard: One of the earliest entries into the field, the Googolboard features brightly-colored 1-inch keys that respond to gentle touches from kids’ fingers.

KidzMouse: This keyboard/mouse combo has been on the market for a while, and has been graced by a number of popular licensed characters, including Sponge Bob and Mickey Mouse. The keyboard features standard-sized rounded keys and special built-in software to help kids avoid mistakes.
