Transcend Releases 64GB Flash Drive

transcend64gb.jpgIs that a high-capacity Flash drive in your pocket or…aw, never mind.

Transcend has upped the ante for really, really big Flash drives with its new JetFlash V20. The drive holds a whopping 64GB. That, I’m sad to say, is 24GB more than my Powerbook at home.

Also, Transcend wants you to know about its “attractively shaped pearlescent chassis,” blah, blah, blah. Dude, seriously. The chassis could be made out of a dead rat, for all I care.

The JetFlash V20 also comes with a bunch of software, including Web site AutoLogin, Mobile Favorites, Secret-Zip, DataBackup, and more. Oh, and there’s a lifetime warranty on this thing too. At the very least, it should hold you until someone comes out with a 128GB Flash drive next week.
